She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Olin DeBuhr and Edna Hansen Jackson; her husband Colonel Robert Charles Ripple; and her siblings, Doris Jackson Spetch, Robert, Jerry, Roger and Olin Jackson.

She is survived by: her sister Vivian Jackson Skoog; her sons, Scott (Mary Dunn Ripple) and Eric (Martha Ripple Marshall); and her grandchildren, Steven, John Ripple, Emma and Lillian Marshall.
