With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Helen Dotson (Denver, Colorado), who passed away on February 14, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Clement Vallandigham Marmaduke and Florence Marmaduke (Peach); her half-brothers, Clement Vallandigham Marmaduke, Jr., William Marmaduke and Harold Marmaduke; and her husband Paul Carr Dotson.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Dotson (Cheryl) of Littleton and Richard Dotson of Denver; her granddaughters, Pamela Dotson of Littleton and Sarah Sand (Brian) of Westminster; and her great grandchildren, Jillian Sand and Holly Sand. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
