She was predeceased by: her parents, George Koenig and Catherine Koenig. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Walla (Jay); her granddaughter Colleen Klingler (Matt); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan Klingler and Kennedy; her sisters, Chris Pilley (Byron) and Karen Koenig; her husband Rufus Summers; her children, Mary Catherine Summers, Randy and Billy Summers; and her siblings, George Koenig and Elaine Gaudreau. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ellis Family Services (13436 W Arbor Pl, Littleton, CO 80127). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235).
