She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine McGowan (Perry) and Kenneth McGowan; and her father-in-law Edward Dauw. She is survived by: her husband Jim Dauw; her children, Jackie (Dauw), Alex Dauw (Kelly) and Michael Dauw; her grandchildren, Annie Wight, Mary Wight, Claire Dauw and James Dauw; and her siblings, Lillian (McGowan), Maisch (Glen), Ernie McGowan (Joanne), Kenneth McGowan, Patrick McGowan (Joan), Fritzi McGowan, Kathleen Foster (McGowan), James McGowan and Dauws. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
