He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Mabel Smith (McGoldrick); his wife Marna Smith; his sister Sheila Heater; and his daughter Sheila Jarrett.

He is survived by: his friend Jack; and his children, Stacey Smith, Shannon Clark, Ave of Florida and Denver.
