He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Lappin Sr. and Roberta Louise Adams Lappin; his son Mark Anthony Lappin; and his sister Arlene Lappin Scott. He is survived by: his former wife Pauline Gonzales; his children, Michael J. Lappin (Andrea A. Johnson) and Sarah A. Lappin (Andrew R. Frew); his grandsons, Jackson Lappin, Asher Lappin and Tyler Joosten; and his sister Kathleen P. Lappin Shaffer (Michael L. Shaffer). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
