He is survived by: his wife Elke Lovelace; and his children, Peter Woeber, Wanda Ned, Esther Jackson and Patty Lovelace.
Joseph Benjamin Lovelace died on April 23, 2023, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease at age 93.
