He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Fountain and Florence Francis Fountain; and his sisters, June, Dorothy and Florence.

He is survived by: his wife Berniece Beahm; his children, Roger Fountain and Barbara Lorah; his grandchildren, Rita Fountain, Paul Lorah and David Lorah; and his great grandchildren, Peter Lorah, Isabelle Lorah, Alex Lorah and Matt Lorah.
