He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Groesser and Sophia Groesser (Johler); and his sister Louise Sims (Dillard). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Groesser (Deffert); his children, Heidi Urie (Kevin), Karl Groesser (Karen) and Robert Groesser (Inge Genders); his grandchildren, Ryan Urie (Natalie), Travis Urie (Lauren), Austin Urie, Nicholas Groesser and Alexa Groesser; his great grandchildren, Clayton, Leeland, Hattie and Etta Urie; and his nieces, Hannelore Sparks (Casey) and Irene Frampton.
