He was predeceased by: his father Salvador; his son Adrian Acosta; and his stepdaughter Amy Albertsen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Maria Regalado (Roberto); his siblings, Roberto Acosta (Crystal), Gilberto Acosta (Mary), Mario Acosta (Theresa), Rosa Yarsaba-Acosta (Sabino), Leticia Garcia (Daniel) and Esmeralda Hernandez (Martin); his stepdaughter Joanne Albertsen (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Araceli Dawson (Isaac), Abigail, Valeria, Marissa, Maxine Regalado and Dante Albertson-Russo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
