She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Alonzo and Nora Maes; her husband Manuel Chavez; her daughter Nadine; her son-in-law Robert Benavidez; and her siblings, Jessie, Ronnie and Tommy.

She is survived by: her grandson Nathan; and her children, Renee (Ed Aramiants), Eleanor (Robert Benavidez), Ila, Becky (Gary Carter) and Vince (Doris Chavez). She is also survived by numerous great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.
