We bid farewell to Mary T. Ludwig of Denver, Colorado, born in Bethesda, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 13, 2025 at the age of 71. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her brother Michael Shannon; and her sister-in-law Dr Carol Ludwig (Newhouse). She is survived by: her husband Ron Ludwig; her son David Ludwig; her daughter-in-law Dhvani Ludwig (Rathod); her grandson Krish Ludwig; her daughter Andrea Lucas (Ludwig); her son-in-law Jason Lucas; her grandson Deklan Lucas; her sister Margie Nelson (Rich Nelson); her nephew Jeremy Nelson; her brothers, James Shannon and William Shannon; Claire Shannon of Kailua Hawaii. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews as well as her cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary (http://www.wildanimalsanctuary.org), the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (https://phassociation.org), the Denver Health Foundation (https://denverhealthfoundation.org) or to any charitable organization that honors the donor's memories of Mary.
