Mary Rose leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary Rose’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mary Rose will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sam; her brother Melvin Bemus; her brothers-in-law, Jim Anderson and Winston Johnson; and her son-in-law Steve Meadors.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Meadors and Cindy Canino; and her siblings, Holly Anderson, Bonnie Johnson and Mark Bemus (Kathy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (901 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80226).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mary's memory. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
