We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2023, at the age of 92, Maxine Bernice Chavez of Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Gonzales and Lavina T. Gonzales. She is survived by: her husband Joe Chavez; her children, Joseph (Lynne), Charles (Tina), Michele (Richard) and Jeanine; and her brothers, Dick (Maureen) and James (Dana). She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
