She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kovach and Anna U Kovach (Owen); her husband Robert E Jacks; and her nephew Daniel J Kovach. She is survived by: her children, Catherine J. Gucciardo, Allen J. Jacks, Robert Scott Jacks (Des) and James A. (Jeanna); her grandchildren, Vincent Ian Gucciardo, Joseph Colin Gucciardo, Adrianne Van (Zachary) and Robert James (RJ); her great grandchildren, Madalyn and Enzo VanVleet; her sisters, Barbara Poyneer and JoAnne Kovach; her nephew Christopher DeBerry; and her nieces, Laura Poyneer and Lisa (Wim).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (231 E Camp St, Ely, MN 55731). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ely Cemetery (2110 MN-169, Ely, MN 55731).
