She is survived by: her parents, Douglas Bowman and Heather Cotton; her husband Howard "Art" Pieters; her children, Kyle and Hannah; her pet Charlie; and her siblings, Christina West (Peter) and Christopher Bowman (Rachael). She is also survived by Auntie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice in her honour.
