He is survived by: his wife Marianne Weingardt; his children, Grant Kachulis and Danielle Kachulis Ryan; his son-in-law Mitch Ryan; his grandchildren, James "Carter" Ryan and Reese Kay Ryan; and his siblings, Richard Kachulis (Kathy) of Council Bluffs, Gloria Hochlan of Elkhorn, Rocky Kachulis of Parker and Hollis Karcher (Bob) of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
