He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Swize, Sr. and Susie Kostelnik Swize; and his brothers, Daniel Swize (late Elizabeth) and Allen Swize (late Betty). He is survived by: his son Michael J. Swize; his wife Lydia Swize; his daughter Lisa Swize (Jerrod Brown); his grandchildren, Gabriella Swize, Emrik Brown and Mathis Brown; and his siblings, Darlene Moczygemba (Norman), James Swize (Patricia) and Emil Swize, Jr. (Liz). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
