We announce the death of Natalie Jo Volz of Denver, Colorado, born in Freeman, South Dakota, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 49. Natalie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Natalie will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Natalie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her parents, Joe Volz and Betty Volz; her brother Travis Volz (Crystal); and her niece Stella "Shae" Volz. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Living Word Lutheran Church (7901 S Meredith Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations made to the family in Natalie's memory will be forwarded to the Sanford Center for Pediatric Research and the Avera Research Institute, supporting work dedicated to improving the health and lives of children.
