He is survived by: his parents, Randall Moody Calvert and Rebecca Woody Henning; his significant other Marco Mondragón; his siblings, Natasha Nordgren, Aricia Talbott, John Calvert and Vanessa Henning; his stepfather Patrick Henning; his grandparents, David Calvert and Reba Webb; his siblings-in-law, Travis Nordgren, William Talbott and Alyssa Guentert; and his nephews, Parker, Marek, Connor, William and Jacob Talbott. He is also survived by many many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His wind-tunnel research on atmospheric reentry earned him a National Science Foundation grant, which supported his continued research and his Ph.D. with distinction from Princeton University.
