It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Exe in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Phyllis may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Phyllis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Deffenbacher and Maridell Deffenbacher (Allum); her husband Larry Exe; and her brother James G. Deffenbacher. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Bajorek (Jack); her grandchildren, Aaron Bajorek (Kelly) and Stephanie Bajorek; and her sister Patricia McCallum (Dwain).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Berkley Hospice of Aurora.
