She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence James Welsh and Myrle Best Welsh; and her husband Selby Sanders. She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy Branan of Villisca and Jacquelyn Wuth of Denver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Villisca Cemetery North 5th (135 N 5th Ave, Villisca, IA 50864).
