He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Mae Birnel and Kenneth Lee Hammond. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Lee Hammond, Tobi L. Duncan (Kirby) and Ross L. Hammond (Julie); and his nieces and nephews, Barbara "Bob" Duncan (James), Katy Duncan, Kathy Pierce (Cal), Glen Hammond (Emily) and Atticus Lee. He is also survived by two great nieces and a great nephew.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3645 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235).
