She was predeceased by: her parent Mabel Sams (Tjaden); her son Robert; her siblings, Steven, Mike and Alana; and her grandparents, Lester, Millie Sams and Alice Tjaden.
She is survived by: her daughter Josette Sanguinette (Louis); her brother Gerry Tjaden (Jamie); her grandchildren, Julyssa Sanguinette, Cauy Sanguinette, Rebecca Sanguinette (Malachi) and Paul Sanguinette (Josh); her great grandchildren, Ezekiah and Adonijah; her niece Kelsey Thornburg; and her friend Teri Brede. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She later worked at Beehive Homes, an assisted living community, with elderly Alzheimer residents.
