It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard R. Jones (Denver, Colorado), who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Jones and Mable Jones; and his former wife Beverly Bolesta. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Erickson; and his children, Christina Jones and Matthew Jones. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

In place of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to either Sarah Cannon cancer research or Urban Peak in Rich's name.

“I was saddened to hear of Rich’s passing as he was a bit of hero to me as a kid. He was my cousin as his father was my fathers brother. I remember Uncle Harry taking me to see Rich play football in college. Which was an incredibly inspiring moment. His move west is part of how I ended up in the west as well. Getting his Christmas card each year was always a highlight. My sympathies go out to his wife and children. Rest in peace Rich.”
