He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Ann Myers Sharkey of Speedway, IN; his parents, Fay L. Sharkey, Sr. and Mary B. Sharkey; his brother Fay L. Sharkey, Jr.; his sister-in-law Ruby J. Sharkey; his sister Barbara L. Stanfill; his brother-in-law Robert Stanfill; and his nieces, Deborah L. Stanfill and Carolyn L. Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Hasemeyer; his son-in-law James Hasemeyer of Centennial, CO; his grandchildren, Samantha Harvey (Corina Harvey) of Portland, OR and Christopher Latch of Atlanta, GA; his nephew Michael Stanfill; and his grandchildren-in-law, Jennifer (Greg Murphy), Jody (Mike Adams), Mark (Laura Hasemeyer), Brad (Camillia Hasemeyer) and Jim. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
