He was predeceased by: his daughter Rebecca Blunk; and his former wife Katherine. He is survived by: his wife Diane Kelly; his sons, Scott Blunk (Lisa Kay) of Philadelphia and Judd Blunk (Cyndy) of Woodacre, CA; and his sisters, Pat Justice of Carbondale, IL and Nancy Bradley of Lincoln, NE.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
