He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanie Golden Talpers; his sons, Gary Talpers (Nancy) and Ron Talpers; his grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca Talpers, Hunter Melnick, Marco Melnick, Alexandra Karnes (Brandon), Jackson Melnick and Joshua Melnick; and his great grandchildren, Kameron and Kayden Karnes.
