He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his sisters, Miguelina Bonilla Dela Torre (Remijo) and Celida Bonilla (Santos); and his children, Robert Bonilla Jr., Margarita Estrada (Hector), Gary Gallegos (Yvonne), Kenny Gallegos (Elaine), Cheryl Renteria (Enrique) and Anita Díaz (Joe). He is also survived by in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
