He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Perlman; his parents, Hyman Cheris and Gertrude Cheris; his children, Aaron Cheris (Karla), Zachariah Cheris (Tiana), Stacie Perlman (Aaron) and Giordin Perlman (Steven); and his grandchildren, Athena, Sonya, Krystal, Miya, Martin, Madilyn and Caleb.
