It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Matthew Spruiell of Denver, Colorado, born in Amory, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Marguerite Spruiell; and his grandparents, Sam, Lottie Mae Spruiell, Paul and Annie Ruth Strawbridge.

He is survived by: his daughter Sophia Mackenzie Spruiell; his father Don Spruiell (Fleeta); his sister Suzanne Pugh (Kevin); and his nephews, Brady Pugh (Anna) and Ryan Pugh (Tristin).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Maxfund Animal Adoption Center, an organization that was important to Samuel.
