She was predeceased by: her parents, Panagiotis Katopodis and Evanthia Katopodis; her brother Stavros; and her husband Gerasimos. She is survived by: her brother Lefteris; her children, Anna and Tasos; her grandchildren, Lizzy, Katie, Jack, Alex, Evan and Stephen; and her niece Teresa.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in the loving memory of Sophia to the Assumption of the Theotokos Cathedral would be greatly appreciated.
