He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emil Berkowitz and Molly Berkowitz; his wife Sandy; his children, Todd Berkowitz (Melanie Fischer) and Amy Berkowitz Caplan (Ilan Caplan); his grandchildren, Roberto, Sofia Berkowitz, Naftali, Danya and Devra Caplan; his sisters, Dena Schneider, Harriet Feld and Suzan; and his siblings-in-law, Allan Markman and Noreen Stillman.
