He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary B. Nye Nye and William E. Nye; and his friend Barbara Terry. He is survived by: his brothers, John Nye of Hickory, NC and Paul Nye (Anna Marie) of Quakertown, PA; and his stepsiblings, Ruth Rogers, Julia Arnold and Glenn Terry. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
