She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Higgins and Martha Higgins; her husband Robert "Bob" Bueltell; her son Nathan; and her son-in-law Walt McClung.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam McClung of Yuma, CO; her grandsons, Christopher McClung of Yuma, CO and Brian McClung of San Luis, CO; and her great grandchildren, Calliope and Loxley of San Luis.
At Old Threshers Thelma could be seen going through the used books making her reading selections for the coming year while donating those she read from the last.
