He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maxey and Evelyn Maxey; and his sisters, Anita and Gail. He is survived by: his extended family Dougie; his wife Lee Kathryn; his mother-in-law Thelma Gash; his brother-in-law Kent; and his sister Olivia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
