He is survived by: his wife Juanita S. (Windsor); his son Douglas L. Tate (Lisa Robertson); his granddaughter Ashley N. Tate (Shelby O'Brien) of Denver; his stepgranddaughters, Allison Robertson (Ryan Dansby) and Emily Robertson-Allen (Jeremy Allen) of California; his brother Roger L. Tate; and his sister-in-law Mary Belle Starkey of Mineola, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
