He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma H. Anema and Gerrit Bliek; his stepfather George Anema Jr.; his brother Paul Anema; and his brother-in-law Wesley Masselink.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Bliek (Janda), Todd Bliek (Lauren Hayutin) and Cady Dawson (Bliek); his grandchildren, Holland, Brody Bliek, Mackenzie, Presley Bliek, Jaden, Charles and Emerson Dawson; and his siblings, Robin Masselink, Peggy Itela (Thais), Mary Hybels (Dan), Ann Van Hofwegen and Mark Anema (Leslie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
