He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastasios Katopodis and Giannoula Katopodis; and his siblings, Gerasimos, Spyros and Evangelia.
He is survived by: his sisters, Fotini, Eftihia and Maria; his wife Diana; his children, Maria and Nikolaos; and his grandchildren, Dimitri, Helena, Vissarion and Alexandra.
