He was predeceased by: his siblings, Captain James Paul Gauley and Patricia Ann Murphy; and his daughter Cynthia Kaye Muirhead. He is survived by: his wife Billie; his children, Kimberley Moffitt and Paul Gauley; and his grandchildren, Kyle Moffitt, Keenan Moffitt (Victoria), Abigail Moffitt and Madison Paige Kozlowski Gauley.
