He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Lucille McClain and Clarence Charles Thomas (CC); his brother Robert Thomas; and his pets, Sparky, Sparkles, Rocky, Apollo Gordy and Lucky Liston.

He is survived by: his daughters, Traci Thomas (Able), Kim Sullivan (Jason) and Jen Gordy (Alex); his grandchildren, Xander Liston (Clair), Reilly and Fletcher Sullivan; his pets, Drago Gordy and Birdie Thomas; and his brother Richard Thomas.
