He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Millard Higgins and Joylene Higgins (Wilson); his sons, Heath Higgins (Rita) of Yellow Jacket, CO and Allen Higgins (Amanda) of Lewis, CO; his grandchildren, Lea, Cutter, Ryder, Makaya and Keyan; his daughter Mother Joylene Higgins of Dolores, CO; his brothers, Steve (Cindy), Kenny (Judi), Darrell (Barbara), Doyle (Patricia) and Duane (Debra); his brother-in-law Keith Hindmarsh (Alesha); his wife LeAnn Higgins (Hindmarsh); and his brother-in-law Kent Hindmarsh.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lewis Arriola Community Center (21176 Rd S, Cortez, CO 81321).
At that point, Parkinson's disease limited his ability to fully carry out the things he loved to do.
