She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorthy Mozelle Jackson and Eugene Jackson; her brother Larry Jackson; her son Jarad Dawain Brown; her husband Donald Brown; her sons, Sam Johnson of Golden and Kelly Johnson of Cortez, Colorado; her daughters-in-law, Lanier Johnson and Ginny Johnson; and her grandchildren, Jared, Cody, Allison, Lane and Dusty.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ertel Memorial Chapel (42 N Market St, Cortez, CO 81321). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Greenmount Cemetery (900 Cemetery Rd, Durango, CO 81301).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dolores Southern Baptist Church and/or the American Cancer Society.
