We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2025, at the age of 78, Kenneth Wayne Barker in Dolores, Colorado, born in Liberal, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kenneth Wayne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kenneth Wayne farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parent Claude Bizmark Barker; and his siblings, Leo and LeEtta. He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Tomeko Baker (Barker) of Doloresc, CO.; his grandchildren, Kenneth "Draven" Barker (Ashley) of Lincoln, NE, Chezney Barker of Lincoln, NE and Landen Thompson of Cortez; his brother Ron Barker (Cathy); his great grandchild Kenneth Lochlain Barker; and also Jackie Gapp (Craig Gapp) of Lincoln, NE.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cortez Cemetery (27440 US-160, Cortez, CO 81321).
