He was predeceased by: his mother Josefa F. Montoya; and his siblings, Larry, Lotario, Albert, Patrick, Jose "Nato", Irene, Olivia and Priscilla.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Luna (Waters); his children, Dominic Luna, Matthew Luna (Lydia), Amy Hernandez (Francisco), Andrew Luna and Andrea Luna (James Marez); his siblings, Tony, Rosemary, Theresa and Margie; his grandchildren, Anthony Hernandez, Sophia Garcia, Angelina Hernandez, Anastasia "Ana" Luna and Nathan Hernandez; and his great grandchild Valeria Hernandez.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Revive Fire Church (578 E 5th Ave, Durango, CO 81301). A committal service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenmount Cemetery (900 Cemetery Rd, Durango, CO 81301). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Revive Church (578 E 5th Ave, Durango, CO 81301).
