He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Luetta Ayers (Throckmorton) and Charles William Ayers; his wife Peggy Joyce Ayers (Carter); his son Thomas H. Ayers; and his siblings, Clyde Ayers, Earnest Ayers, Millard Ayers, Ray Ayers, Sylvia Risenhover, Ruby Trone, Rose Neely and Zola Maslen.
He is survived by: his children, David Ayers (Robbie) of Wickenburg, Bo Ayers (Cathy) of Egnar, Denny Ayers (Sharon) of Fort Morgan, Don Ayers (Cheryl) of Egnar, Barbara Curtis (Emmett) of Egnar and Sandy McFarland (Pete) of New Castle, Wyoming. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
