Mel Bargas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mel Bargas in Englewood, Colorado, who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bargas and Dena Bargas (Trujillo). He is survived by: his wife Victoria Schwab of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his daughters, Sheri Cimino (Mark) of Citrus Heights, CA, Nicole Ochs (Dirk) of Overland Park, KS and Mandy Spitzer (Jeremie) of Shrewsbury, MA; his stepson Andrew Schwab; his grandchildren, Jimmy Bauer, Erika Bauer of Citrus Heights, CA, Hannah Bauer of Citrus Heights, CA, Cameron Schwab of Lakewood, CO, Henry Clay of Overland Park, KS, Savvi Spitzer of Shrewsbury, MA and Merritt Spitzer of Shrewsbury, MA; his siblings, Jim Bargas and Marlene Bargas-Ulibarri of Arvada, CO; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Walker (Linda Porter) of Lincoln, NE and Kelly Walker (Yoriko Walker-Matsumoto) of Snohomish, WA. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
