She was predeceased by: her husband Duane Cahill; her parents, Joseph Gassen and Sarah Gassen; and her siblings, John Gassen, Mary Ann Patrick and Sharon Alberts.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sutherland (Martin), Jo Anne Wingate (Roger), Kenneth Cahill (Shawn), James Cahill (DeOn) and John Cahill (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Andres), Andrew, Zaina (Casey), Tyler (Mary), Shelby, Monica (Chris), Audrey (Andrew), Amanda (Ethan), Morgan, McKenna, Julie Sager (Kirk) and Jay Wingate (Amy); and her siblings, Tom Gassen (Beverly) and Janie Spurlock (Larry). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Clermont Park, a neighborhood of Christian Living Communities, 9570 S. Kingston Ct. #300, Englewood, Colorado 80112.
