He is survived by: his children, Maren Buckley (Clay) and Kevin; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Buckley (Ryan Murphy), Carolyn Buckley (Johnny Egger) and Julia Ranum (Garrett); his great grandchildren, Lucy Quinn, Valerie Lynn, Mason Christopher and Daisy Marie; his siblings, Joseph Aberle (Genevieve) and Jennie Staud; and his sisters-in-law, Selma Thompson and Rosemarie Aberle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (8035 S Quebec St, Englewood, CO 80112, USA). A reception was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill.
