It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark Andrew Buenzow of Erie, Colorado, born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Kenneth Buenzow. He is survived by : his mother Gloria Buenzow (Casper); his wife Jennifer (Wilke); his children, Campbell and Annabeth; and his siblings, Jessica, Rebecca, Kenneth and Robert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Over the course of testing for his second-degree, he pushed himself through what was later diagnosed as heart failure in Estes Park and tested for his certified second-degree trailing his oxygen behind him by ZOOM in his living room during the Covid lockdown.

In lieu of flowers, donations to either the American Lung Association or American Heart Association would be greatly appreciated.
